Guru Purnima or Vyasa Purnima is the day to celebrate and pay our gratitude to our Gurus. This Sanskrit word literally translates to 'the one who frees us of ignorance'. Guru Purnima was celebrated on 24th July in school. A special assembly was conducted for the same in which the school prayer was sung followed by Guru Vandana. Students were told the importance of "GURU" in one's life and why this day is celebrated as Guru Purnima. Students of classes 9 to 12 participated in it with the help of Teacher's and delivered their speech on the subjects.
