It was a red letter day in the history of India when the country get her freedom on August 15,1947. People of the country celebrate this festival every year with great pump and show. Our school also celebrates this festival every year. Independence day was celebrated in our school with great enthusiasm and patriotic fervor. The school campus was beautifully decorated with flags and balloons to commemorate the day. The students of classes 9th to 11th and teachers gathered in the morning. The National flag was hoisted by the Maya Behen Ji, she hoisted the national flag on the school building sharp at 9:00 am. All the students and teachers saluted the flag and then sang the National anthem with nobody honoring it. Some committee members were also there, Mrs. Madhuri Mam and Miss Renu Mam conducted the stage Patriotic songs were recited both by the teachers and students also presented the group dance. A solemn speech was given by the Principal Ma'am and Mr. Satish Sharma. Sweets were distributed to every one.
